I am an artist from Newfoundland, I paint and sketch portraits, I also paint landscapes and seascapes, still life, and fantasy.
I have been sketching and drawing most of my life, but in 2007, I got an interest in oil and acrylic painting, I have been doing commissioned paintings and sketches for people all over the world, selling my prints to people as far away as Taxas, to a commissioned sketch for a customer in Europe..
I am self taught artist plus lessons from Memorial University of Newfoundland that teaches extension courses for 6 to 8 weeks at a time.
And lessons from a well respected artist from Newfoundland named Don Short. I am a member of the Art Association of Newfoundland and Labrador, AANL and AAMP Art Assocciation of Mount Pearl, I have attended many art workshops and art classes, Exhibiting my art to the public for shows and sale..
But most of all the more I paint and sketch the better I get, I am always looking for perfection, I love to play with colors, when I paint for people that's where I get the most pleasure, I love the reaction I get when they see their finished painting, some people cried, others couldn't believe how beautiful their painting or sketch was, it's so satisfying and exciting.
